a twelve-year-old Inuit boy, who embarks upon a journey to find his missing father, undertaking the challenge of hunting down the mythical bear, Suaq Nanok.

A husband covers his weekly infidelities with the pretext of hunting. His best friend intends to take advantage of the situation and makes an appointment with the outraged wife in a bachelor flat where the situation is resolved, not without morality being undermined.

One autumn day, Germain and his son Mathieu visit their old family home where, twenty years before, a tragedy turned their lives upside down. What happened? Why are they returning to a place that has been abandoned all these years? The pieces of their story come together when Germain comes face to face with Nadeau, the former neighbor who has just been released from prison.
